Greg has enhanced his education by working as a millwright, electrician, and welder.

Greg's major strengths are in analyzing and solving mechanical problems. Because of his ability in this area Greg is called upon to figure out mechanical problems, not only within the scope of Core Engineering's work, but he is frequently asked by outside companies to do the same for them. He does process analysis, process flow, estimates, and appraisals.

Greg has acted as an expert witness, investigator of mechanical failures, and process flow problems. He has designed several one of a kind machines. He has been guest speaker at forest industry conferences, WCB safety meetings, and college engineering classes.

Among Greg's hobbies are motorbikes, both riding and repairing them.
