Engineering and detailed design of new coal yard conveyor, bents, trusses & walkway galleries.

Core Engineering performed the engineering and detailed design of a new coal yard conveyor for Neptune Bulk Terminals Ltd. in North Vancouver.  This conveyor along with all the bents and gallery sections were fabricated by Versatile Fab & Machine in Kelowna, and installed by Systematic Mill Installations Ltd.  This conveyor was part of Neptune’s capacity upgrade where they installed a new stacker/reclaimer to run alongside their existing equipment.  This conveyor transports coal from the coal car dumper to the yard for storage, or from the storage yard to the coal silo for loading on to awaiting bulk carriers.
