Engineering design and shop detailing of portable lime storage silo and substructure at Fairbanks Gold.

Core Engineering provided the engineering design and shop detailing of a lime holding silo for Fairbanks Gold including the substructure.  This is a fully portable silo designed to be transported to the necessary mine operating locations and to resist the high seismic demands for the geographical area. The silo was designed to be controlled by the lime truck drivers remotely from the safety and comfort of the truck cabs.

The silo was fabricated by Waycon Manufacturing in Penticton, B.C., and transported by truck to Alaska.
