Engineering and detailed design of merchandiser and log infeed, outfeed, and foundations.

Core Engineering engineered and designed a 3 saw merchandiser system and log infeed and outfeed deck for Idaho Forest Group’s Lewiston location.  The building that this equipment is located is a pre-engineered building sitting on a foundation designed by Core.

The merchandiser system is a proprietary system designed and detailed by Core Engineering and fabricated by Versatile Fab & Machine. These systems are modified to meet each clients needs on an individual basis, designed for any size of logs and the required number of saws.  Core’s current merchandiser systems in operation range from 3 saws to 6 saws ranging in size from 60 inches up to 84 inches.
